Someone wishes to go up, someone else chooses to go down. Why down? Why would someone slither like a crazy serpent around images of its own past? A snake is dry and serene able to see things that we can only be jealous of. I am patiently awaiting my turn. I have been scared of snakes all my life. Interconnection between intense physical experience and the symbolic role of language.
